The Poor Will again Get Free Grain in the Corona Pandemic: In view of the Corona epidemic, the central government has announced five kg of free foodgrains per person for the next two months under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. The foodgrains will be distributed to the poor in May and June 2021. Even during the lockdown last year, foodgrains were distributed to people under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.

While the country is facing another wave of Corona, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced re-implementation of the scheme to ensure that the poor get enough foodgrains which will be in force for two months. The central government will spend Rs 26,000 crore on the scheme.

On Friday, PM Modi also spoke of providing adequate cooperation to all states to fight the Corona epidemic. Discussing the current Corona epidemic after discussions with the country’s most affected states, Modi said the joint efforts and joint strategy in the first wave of Corona had helped India control the Corona transition. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office after the meeting said that this time the virus is affecting many states as well as Tier Two and Tier three cities. The Prime Minister assured the states of full cooperation in this fight and said that the Union Ministry of Health is in constant touch with all the states and is constantly monitoring the situation as well as giving them necessary advice from time to time End.
On the issues raised by the states regarding oxygen supply, the Prime Minister said that continuous efforts were being made to increase its supply. He said that all the concerned departments and ministries were working together in this direction. Also happening for requirements.
The Prime Minister said that the Railway Air Force was being used to reduce the time taken to send oxygen tankers and then return them. The Prime Minister urged all the states to work together and cooperate with each other to meet the need for medicines and oxygen. Urging to tighten the noose on oxygen hoarding and black marketing, he said if we work as a nation, there will be no shortage of resources.
